The Making of a Revolution
It took logging in many hours at the office for the idea of Mindful Revolution to come to life.
After a grueling 12-hour work day, Ashley Blackmon stumbled into Leigh-Anne Brown's yoga class and that's when the magic happened! They envisioned a yoga company that did not rely on students coming to the studio but rather brought the studio to the students. Mindful Revolution's goal is to make the practice and benefits of yoga accessible to everyone, and to revolutionize the way we feel, live, work, and play.
Leigh-Anne Brown
Leigh-Anne Brown has forever been interested in spirituality, adventure, and travel. This led her to wander into her first yoga class 8 years ago. Ever since then, she’s been hooked! She began instructing yoga in 2003 while earning her Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. Leigh-Anne sees Mindful Revolution as the perfect venture for combining her background in Educational Psychology and her passion for yoga.
Ashley Blackmon
After competing as a NCAA Division I athlete for Brown University’s women’s basketball and rugby teams, Ashley Blackmon needed a new way to relax and rejuvenate her body - which led her to her first yoga class. After completing her degree in Psychology and Pre-Medical studies at Brown, Ashley worked as a counselor and an energy therapist. Ashley fuses her interest in wellness, spirituality, and yoga together with Mindful Revolution.
